Absolutely fantastic work, inspiring!

Tas Kyprianou

Who needs sharp ...
Having trolled through countless "dance" photographers websites I finally came across one that was worth visiting. You've managed - among other things - to capture mood, feeling, warmth, passion rather than dancers frozen in mid air. Beautiful work, beautiful work. All the best, Tas

Some might call it archaic notch, some might call it an illusion, and some disturbing silence ... life is beautiful in this page ... great work.

I was looking through your work and I'm stunned on how beautiful it is. Do you have a book we can buy? I'm doing an independent study on dance photography and need to do a lot of research on different artists.

Remember me? We swapped emails during one of my A-level photography units "dance photography". I'm sorry we couldn't talk on the phone, so I thought I'd just leave a message saying how completely inspiring and amazing your photos are. Thank you

Travail magnifique. La technique pointue est mise au service des émotions. Et tout cela d'une façon si subtil ... Des mots, des airs de chansons résonnent à la vue de ces images. Des moments délicieux.

I must comend you, your work is truely incredible. It may not entirely capture human emotion and process it into something we can see but it comes so close.

Brooke Huuskes

Novel photographic perspective on dance exquisitely presented.

I have been impressed by your web site. I have just gone to the web page, and am absolutely impressed. Although I do not do photographs myself, I love photography, mainly when it tries to picture human beings. I have to say that very often I find that photographs do not show the beautiful side of human bodies and their expressivity and I think that is a pity. Your do by far. That is lovely. I have enjoyed them so much. I am so much looking forward to see your exhibition.

I love your work. Many dance photographers forget dance is about movement.
All the best.

What a wonderful site. The photographs convey a most inspiring sense of unpretentious depth. Elena's strong and highly evocative experiments with focus, movement, and contrast never irritate the viewer but beautifully support the accessibility of the images.
lots of love, Stephan

Lovely expressive images, elegantly presented. Good to see the artistic spirit in full flight.

Mark Miller

Why can't all web pages be like yours? I mean elegant, attractive, easy to use, and without superfluous gimmickry which would bring nothing more to the subject!
As a mere photographic artisan - of the "One two fifth at F8" school - I wouldn't presume to comment on your artistry, save to say that even my ageing cathode ray tube still renders it all most impressive.

Carl

Good site: Easy to navigate, fast, and uncluttered. The eye is drawn straight to Elena's photography -- which is as it should be.
Zoom in!

I am so glad that I can now look at Elena's gorgeous photos whenever I like. The website is very impressive! It's simple and logical to use and lets one enjoy the photographs without any distractions.

The website is great and downloading the pictures takes no time at all. The pictures are absolutely stunning, disturbing and exciting all at the same time. We will have to keep an eye on your site since it is so inspiring for our work also.
Best wishes to you and keep up taking pictures. A & H

I am ever in awe by the mystery and the detangling of human Gordion knots that are part of Elena's images... A new discovery of my emotions, a new translation of others' individuality. Oh, the paradox of universality! I am stirred, and my spirit dances in the light of such mystical images!
